You want cosy, quiet and nice? Go to Delray Beach, Florida, USA

Ok, so I've decided that my first travel article will be 

about Delray. Well, some of you might think I'm going to talk about Lana...hell no!

I just want to present Delray Beach, a town located in Florida, North of Miami (about 45 minutes from Fort Lauderdale with 95 Hwy ).

I've discovered Delray Beach last summer and was enchanted by this nice town. For us Europeans, it's kind of the perfect American beach town cliché where everything is clean and beautiful. What really caught my attention is the cool and chic atmosphere. 

Delray is a great location to take a walk in the main street, Atlantic Avenue, with lots of cute restaurants, stores and art galleries. In the evening, you can find the right place for you if you're looking for a calm and cosy restaurant.

As indicated, you can also just enjoy the beach and have a drink in one of the cool crowded bars on the beach where the music is bouncing. Nice places for a refreshing drink or to try some dance moves in your bikini. 

Delray also offers segway tours to appreciate the beautiful gigantic villas of the neighboorhood.

While in Delray, I strongly recommend to make a stop at Sundy House. Sundy House is a nice hotel a block away from Atlantic Avenue. The garden of the hotel is absolutely amazing with a rich luxuriant vegetation. A must see, really! Stroll among trees, wood bridges and fountains. You can also take a look at the outside natural pool. The garden is a really quiet and romantic place. If you want to make the most of it, enjoy a delicious cocktail at the bar before you go.
